Vasiliki Valkanas Sposito is a Chicago based graphic designer and artist. As a freelance graphic designer, she has nearly a decade of experience designing logos, invitations, magazines, t-shirts, banners, posters and more. She also has experience working with social media, email marketing and website refreshes. She offers advice on strategy and works with her clients to create systems and processes that are manageable, but have clear plans for growth and increased reach.
She loves working with clients of all types - non-profit, corporate, small business, cultural, youth programming and more. A typical day may include: creating an infographic for a scientist presenting to a legal team, designing a logo for a start-up, finalizing a sponsorship packet for an upcoming fundraising event, and then setting up an e-blast for a cultural organization’s monthly newsletter. Vasiliki has worked with The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago, The Pancretan Association of America, Chicago's Greektown, The National Hellenic Museum, and many others.
Having started as a visual artist in the traditional forms of drawing and painting, she is able to bring a creative perspective to every project - in a range of mediums and styles. Commissions are available upon request.
Vasiliki Sposito graduated from Northwestern University in 2015 with a major in Communication Studies with a focus on digital media. She also completed the Segal Design Certificate and the Integrated Marketing and Communications Certificate.
